Road freight transport - Fuel cost update of December 2020 for written and verbal transport contracts

The Italian Ministry of Transport has communicated the December 2020 update of the cost of diesel fuel, for written and verbal contracts with haulage transport companies. For vehicles over 7.5 tons. the excise discount is taken into account, except for those classified as Euro 0/1/2 which are excluded from this benefit. The principle of freedom of negotiation of the parties remains unchanged in determining the fee for the transport service and, therefore, it is understood that the actual costs can be different, depending on the type of company and the type of the goods transport, provided that are respected the principles of road safe and social security.
